Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry provides a dynamic and welcoming space for 5th through 12th graders to explore their faith, ask big questions, and build authentic friendships. We cultivate a culture of radical belonging and "bold love", where every student is seen, heard, and encouraged to lead with their unique gifts. Our goal is to walk alongside young people as they navigate the joys and challenges of life, empowering them to grow into deeply rooted disciples of Christ. From high-energy gatherings to meaning service projects, we are committed to helping our youth discover their purpose and impact the world for good.

YoG (Youth Group)

Middle schoolers in 5th through 8th grade are invited to join YoG (Youth Group) every Wednesday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening of high-energy fun and intentional community. It's a space where students can kick back with friends, enjoy some yummy snacks, and dive into relevant conversations about faith and life. Our mission is to create an environment where every student feels they belong while discovering how to follow Jesus in their everyday world. Come hang out, play hard, and grow together as we build a foundation of grace and friendship!

Rooted Bible Study

Rooted Bible Study offers a welcoming and supportive space for young women in 9th through 12th grade to gather every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Meet us in the Youth Room for coffee, pastries, and intentional conversation as we explore the unique challenges of navigating high school and preparing for young adulthood. Our goal is to ground our lives in faith and sisterhood, ensuring every girl feels empowered to launch into her next chapter with confidence and grace.

Church Camp

Each year, our youth head to YouthFront Camp in Edgerton, KS, for a transformative week centered on Christian community and spiritual formation. Students in grades 6-12 experience a unique blend of high-energy recreation - from the splash park to the zip line - an intentional "Sacred Space" for worship and reflection. This annual tradition allows our youth to disconnect from daily distractions and deepen their relationship with God alongside their peers. It remains a cornerstone of our ministry, fostering lifelong friendships and a vibrant, lived-out faith.

Other Activities

Beyond our regular weekly gatherings, our youth stay connected through year-round activities that prioritize both fun and service. Students look forward to seasonal traditions like our annual swim party and various spontaneous outings like our recent trip to BRKTHROUGH in Overland Park. We also emphasize a heart for our neighbors through Give Back Summer, where our youth engage in local volunteering and community service projects. These experiences allow our 5th through 12th graders to live out their faith in the real world while strengthening their bonds as a church family.
